Indira Gandhi College of Education was established in the year 2009. It is approved by NCTE and affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University.
The college was started by eminent educationalists and philanthropists with view to serve the various sections of the society by providing them quality education. The college was started with aim of imparting quality teacher education to the rural students who are socially and economically weaker in our society.
